Lineup Quiz

Loving the quizzes this week, so I thought I'd add one in. I thought I might have done this one before, but I asked a fellow 'Pooler who shall remain nameless in case we're both wrong and he doesn't remember it, or at least doesn't remember it well enough to remember the answer. Many thanks to Ben Grimm and the UMDB for the invaluable research tools. Two players have started at least one game for the Mets in every lineup position - 1 thru 9. Who are they? One guess per post, please.

Murph has started at least once in 1-8, but not 9.

Shinjo is definitely right...I remember because I do think we've done this before. But I don't have a guess at the other.

I can't imagine how dark a place the team is in when Tsuyoshi Shinjo is batting 3 or 4. As bad as things are now, I guess at one time they were worse.

He held his own for the first handful of games. Then things, as they say, morphed into a shape not unlike that of a pear.
