I watched that one from a Cornell dorm room on a tiny 14in television in a building that I believe has since been knocked down.

I fully expect Mike Morgan to pop up in various team photographs-- including expansion ones-- as the years roll by, a ghostly presence-that-should-not-be, like Nicholson at the end of The Shining.

I was in a bar that no longer exists in LIC. Was so giddy (and beer-y) afterward I came home and registered at nyyfans.com so I could read the fans suffering.
