This guy doesn't quite rock it, but more or less sells it.

Johnny Depp strikes me as the kind of guy who can rock a cravat. Has he? I want to say I've seen him in one, but I don't know whether it was awards-show/I-chose-to-wear-this or a movie costume.

I used to rock the cravat in my Colonial Williamsburg days.

Personally, I think a cravat-wielder looks better looking over his left shoulder. George and Andy look a little vulnerable.

Those gents may be able to pull off a cravat, but who can pull off a cravat?

Justin Timberlake could get away with a cravat.

Christopher Hitchens? He always seemed a bit slovenly to me.

Herbie Mann could wear a cravat while playing Hijack.

Sweeney Todd maybe?

There can be a slovenly way to wear a cravat, I think. Hitchens I envision with top shelf tastes and bottom shelf demeanor. A real Regency rogue. The lord of the manor who drank too much expensive wine and raged as his clothes became disheveled and his footman fretted. A real Rochester or a dude like that. Good job in the cravat and tri-corn.

Vulnerable? But he is incorrigible. And he is a keeler. Willets, you look pretty great!

FAT Rochester, maybe. And dude, I'd argue that "roguishly" is the proper way to wear a cravat.
Oh, INDEED. And another likely cravateer, if you slipped him one: Sherlock-nouveux Benedict Cumberbatch.

Thanks. That was 15 years and about 70 pounds ago.

Sure. Fat Rochester. Like when George C. Scott played him.
