Not only did the deal fall through but the day ended with the Angels simply declining the option they held on Haren making him a free agent.

Flashing back on this thread last night. Haren ended up on Washington and is sporting a 5.70 ERA after 13 starts, so it's hard to say who would have won this one. But we won last night and jerked Marmie's ERA up to 6.08 in the executing.
