Celebrity sightings...

I work in Times Square, so i will sometimes see somebody famous walking down the street or eating in a restaurant, or in attendance at a show. Today, i saw Al Pacino walking past me on the street, on my way to lunch. He averted his eyes. He looked like a homeless man.

yup. working with Bobby Cannavale in Pacino's role. I love Cannavale. He's in BOARDWALK EMPIRE now, and is one scary motherfukker. He was brilliant last season on Broadway in MOTHERF**KER WITH THE HAT.

Had a trifecta of celeb goodness the other night at the Neil Young show at the Hollywood Bowl. We noticed Giovanni Ribisi was sitting in front of us. I recognized him as the ex-fiancee of Chan Marshall (AKA Cat Power), but my friends jogged my memory on his pretty impressive film stuff. Wasn't until I got up to pee that I noticed the person next to him shielded by a big hat was none other than Beck. First time I've been genuinely star-struck in LA. Fun lil trivia: Beck is married to Gio's twin sister, Marissa Ribisi and both those dudes (and maybe the sis, too, dunno) are Scientologists. When I returned to the pisser later in the evening, a girl stopped me before walking in and asked me 'WTF is going on in there?!' and I said 'dudes peeing and pooping prolly' and she said, 'Beck & Dave Grohl are in there! OMG!!!' and I said, 'maybe, yeah' and told her I was sitting next to Beck & Gio both. I went into the pisser and saw Giovanni first, then Beck, then Mr. Grohl... a who's who of rock & roll and cinema celebrity peens. When I walked out, Grohl was nowhere to be seen, but Beck was shaking hands and taking photos and the girl who stopped me on the way in was in happy tears and got a great new FB profile pic with the awesome and wonderful Beck. From our seats, Giovanni (L) and Beck (R). Think they could score closer ones, hey. BTW- Neil Young was fucking great.
