Greenpoint had its Halloween parade today. I have another costume for a grownup party with Wifey tonight.

Saw the grown-up costume on Facebook. Nice work on both, JCL.

Re: Halloween Bric-a-Brac

Jolly Roger there came out well I thought but the problem is that I was just sort of experimenting when I started him and so did so too early. He was completed about 10 days ago and looked a lot better then. He's starting to show his age at this point, particularly around the mouth which is the only place he's actually cut through as opposed to just shaved down.

I was going for Munch's 'The Scream' on the other one. He's much fresher but my carving skills are unfortunately limited by my (lack of) drawing skills -- not to mention my poor photography skills.

It's 39 degrees and pouring but we are still having trick or treats tonight.

I guess Woolrich really is The Place For Outdoor People.

I like how Artie's bat-trunks seem to be cut in a girlish bikini style.

Despite the cold and rain, 75 bags of chips were gone by 7:30. Everybody is so sick of being cooped up.

It's been raining since Sunday night.
