I'm going to be thankful for having all of my kids home for the weekend. With my daughter living out of state, it's a rare thing for us these days.

A healthy and happy daughter, the love of a good woman, the support of family/friends during a tough year, and the fact that I ended my affair with Petraeus years ago.

My family, my friends, my health, having the means to do most everything I want/need to do, blue skies, baseball, rock 'n' roll, the internet, the ACA and chocolate.

A nu job with meaning, a nu home (hopefully), and a half a chance at a happy life, which is more than most folks get.

I am thankful for many things. A loving wife. Beautiful kids. A comfortable and nice home. Friends. A job that I find fulfilling, financially and intellectually. My health. Uncounted future Mets World Series victories.

Thankful for the good life America has given me, thankful to be able to celebrate this Thanksgiving in Puerto Rico, a first in many years for my wife, thankful for my wife and son.

I'm thankful that D-Dad's knife accident during dinner preparation wasn't more serious. He cut his finger and needed five stitches at the ER; not unlike Hurricane Sandy, I feel like we dodged a bullet and got away with merely being inconvenienced.
