Two more college grads

My son, and his girlfriend of many years, will be graduating from Lock Haven University this Saturday. His degree will be in Biology and hers in Fine Art. They both have a couple of minors as well and have learned so much in the past five years. I am so proud of them; I just can't express it. Planning to move to New York state to establish residency and continue in their education in either Syracuse or maybe Rochester. I can hardly wait to see what they can accomplish. She wants to be a politician; he just wants to save the world, that's all....

What a wonderful day! A beautiful ceremony (about 300 graduates). Afterwards we went to a pub to have supper with K's dad and grandma, three very close friends, my family and my mom. In the evening we went to Hangar 9, a college bar in town, for Trivia and what a joy to be sitting there sipping beers with my kids and their friends and K's dad, just looking around and catching the eyes of other parents doing the same thing with their kids, all of us smiling :) Left the kids so they could walk downtown to another club to dance, gave them money for a cab home!

Thank you! They are headed for upstate New York sometime this spring or summer to live; I am absolutely going to have them look you up, but I will let you know first so you know who they are!
