Turn in Your Man Card

I don't care if it was about watching Armstrong twist in the wind. If you tuned into the Oprah Winfrey Network this evening, well, time to turn that baby in.

This may be an opportune time for me to confess I took caffeine while posting on Crane Pool. I apologize to the any posters with a lower post count than mine who never took caffeine. But I knew other posters were doing it. I went and looked up the definition of cheat, and the definition is to gain an advantage on a rival or foe. I didn't view it that way. I viewed it as a level playing field. I mean, you have to ask yourself, how does Ceetar get to 10,000 posts in such a short space of time?

Hey there now, Ceetar don't do no stinkin' PEDs. Ceetar posts through tireless hard work and force of will. Do you want him to pee in a cup for you? he will, oh, he will! But he's not here to talk about the past, oh no.

I will admit that my 6:12:20 marathon finish was the result of using caffeine during the race.

I watched a good deal of the show....after I found the network that is.........take my man card Edgy, anyway, lots of admitting by Armstrong, why he even called himself a prick....but no details on anything....... having said that, I don't think Oprah was as terrible as some are saying.....she seemed informed and certainly took him to task.....still, Armstrong had that utter look of disdain in his eyes talking to her.

Maybe it's because I'm not a cycling fan or a cancer survivor, but I don't give a rat's ass about Lance Armstrong. He admitted it? Great. Story's over as far as I'm concerned. I don't know why I need to watch four hours of Oprah to tell me that.

Farmer Ted Jan 18 2013 09:47 AM Re: Turn in Your Man Card |
Mrs. Ted flipped over to Oprah during a commerical last night while I was stoking the woodstove (+1 on the man card scorekeeping). She said the Oprah network wasn't even in HD. Double man card subtraction for withstanding a non-HD network, wussies.

Did you ever dream your life would be... so different from this hell you're living? So different now, from what it seemed?

I honestly have no interest in the Armstrong story or the dude with fake dead girlfriend and have been working hard to ignore all the references to them.
