Please delete the latest post in the Frank Thomas sticky thread and ban the impostor.

I agree.

Banning posters is so 90's.

Alltogether now.

BAN HIM!

I'm not getting this. Is the first FT real and the second one a fraud? (Both are named "Frank Thomas" and both have a single post to their credits--but obviously they 've collectively written 2 posts.) Is the first FT the same fraudenlent poster as the second? Who has a clue? Not me.

I'm sure if the real FrankThomas comes back, the one without the space,
(if it was indeed him) the new Frank Thomas, the one with a space and the
one who has some of us all wound up, will go away. Or something.

We now return you to our rather dead Thursday evening on the cpf.

Like it wasn't confusing enough to have our slugger Frank "The Big Donkey" Thomas and the White Sox slugger Frank "The Big Hurt" Thomas already now we're got Frank "The Big Space" Thomas and Frank "No Space" Thomas to worry about.

(Mr. Thomas, sir, if it offends you to read that some players referred to you as "The Big Donkey", I apologize for repeating it.)

I'm 'fused.

FrankThomas is the real guy. (Or at least his ghost writer.)

The user who called himself Frank Thomas (with the space) is an idiot imposter.

My vote would be to remove the post and shut down the user name.

I agree with striking both the post and the name, if only to avoid confusion.

Otherwise I'm generally in favor of letting PitA's hang around in order to get abuse heped upon them.

oh..I didnt notice the space.

Im always against the banning of anyone ( hacking tomfoolery would be my only acception) but I dont think its right to try and decive us into thinking he's another member.
Id ask Mr Thomas what he would like done about it.

As a matter of fact....Ill make that my next question to him.

ban ban ban. i'm all in favor of people making up names and pretending to be real life people (or pretending to be a muppet) but when your clear intent is to impersonate another user on this board you should get the ban. i don't want to see "nymr 83," "brent sabermetric," and "swltchhitter" (thats a lower case "L" impersonating a capital "i") running around.

I agree that posing as another poster is a rare bannable offense, but I don't get the meaning in the post, nor am I 100% certain that the second poster wasn't the same as the first, re-registering his name.

Have we checked his or her digits, to see if it doesn't match the ID of another user here?

The IP on the second Frank Thomas does not match anyone else on this board, much less the first Frank Thomas. Obviously someone can post from different computers though.

Paulie, is that you?
