I got tix for the 16th, too. Saw the Fall From Grace tour at Roseland. The missus was pregnant, it was about 100 degrees outside and Shane was drinking way too much by the time the show had started. I'll be back for more with a non-pregnant wife in March.

The show a bit away but we should meet for a few pints before sharpie..

You think that now.

Absolutely, Irish.

Not gonna comment on Edgy's remark. Not gonna comment.

I'm going to the show here in DC, March 10th, 9:30 club. The only one I guess.

Anyone who can't get NYC tickets is welcome to come down and visit.

Ticketmaster is coming by later for their pound of flesh.

Is The Nokia Theatre a standing up place like Roseland or are there seats?

sharpie
Dec 08 2005 10:58 AM

Never been there but their website makes it look like they have seats. Getting too old for those standing-up-only places.

Sharpie did your tickets come as an attachment in your email?, mine di and I just printed them...weird.

sharpie
Dec 08 2005 02:54 PM

No. I'm mad cheap and the email attachment cost $2.50 while if they mail it it doesn't cost any more than the outrageous service charge already plonked on.

Got tix yesterday for the Mar. 14th performance in Boston. I'll give you all a preview when the time comes.

By the way, if you click on that link, and click on "gallery", I did the two renderings on the upper left and the lower right. I haven't been to a concert there yet, but I'd like to see if it looks the same in real life as it did in my head.

Very cool Methead.

Great job, Methead. Looking at the gallery it looks like the main floor is standing room but there is wraparound seating a la The Bowery Ballroom.

Thanks!

As I understand it, they can set it up differently for different events. For last night's Heisman ceremony, they had seating set up on the floor. But for concerts I'm sure it's general admission down there. Balconies were for VIP's according to the plans. And the seating at the back doesn't really wrap around, it's just in the back.
