Hi CPF, well I just had a very crazy busy few days, Saturday I moved to a new apartment in Westchester, got my high speed cable internet up tonight and on the 20th I fly to Ireland for Christmas and New years, won't be back here until the 6th of Janurary, I will have no internet over there, I know only one friend with a PC....anyway I love the new place and damn it feels good to not have dial up anymore....

Have a great trip to Ireland, someday I am taking my daughter there. Or probably, the other way around.

Only one person with a PC? What is this 1985?

Aren't you going to be participating in a wedding on your trip?

Thanks everyone...

]Irish has been posting at that rate with dial-up?

I post a lot at work and plus this site thankfully doesn't have a lot of graphics, of course the roster thread was a waste for me to be looking at with dial-up..but un-like a previous Mets fan site I went to this was dial-up friendly...

]Only one person with a PC? What is this 1985?

I know, I swear one friend has a PC with dial-up...last Christmas I was over his place and he wanted to show me some pics from his gig, he turned the PC on and siad that it would be 20 minutes before the site and pics loaded....honestly though none of the lads care about having interent access...

]Aren't you going to be participating in a wedding on your trip?

That was last Christmas, i was the best man, and a fine job I did..but not something I would do again..at home the best man does it all, MC''s the wedding..introducing all the speakers first and then the big speech...
I swear this time last year I was going crazy about the speech...but Michael is my best friend so it was easy...still public speaking is not a thing I like..

thanks again CPF.

There are these things in Ireland called "pubs" and once you've been in one for a couple of hours you won't need the internet.

Very true Willets.... a question, should I download a screen saver, is it safe to just leave the PC on all day with a screen saver?

hey Irish - am I right in thinking you're originally Tipperary?

If so where abouts? My grandmother's from Riverstown which is just on the offaly border

Yeah Duan I'm from Tipperary, South Tipperary though, a village on the foot fo the Galtee Mountains called Bansha, it's stuck between Tipp Town and the town of Cahir.
