Hef with 3 IP, allowed only a long-sounding HR to Upton. Mets leading 2-1 thanks to two Marlon Byrd RBIs (single, sac fly).

So far, Marlon is making a pretty strong case as an everyday RF. Hef looked good. Interested to see this Montero kid.

And a 4-2 Braves win is your final as Gorski and Edgin fail down the stretch. Mets are getting their baserunners, but stranding buckets full of 'em. Two more scoreless for Mitsubishi Montero.

Winter leagues or not, the 35 year old Byrd looks better than I thought he would. He was an AS in 2010.
