2013 IPP: Brandon Hicks

Is he going to make the team? He's on the 40-man, and Omar Quintanilla is not, so I suppose for now he has an advantage of sorts.

I'll say 150 plate appearances for the Mets, a .230 batting average. Won't be back in 2014.

They're trashing him after 2 weeks and a couple of errors. I think he can be Woodwardian with a little xtra pop.

5-19-273/334/399 with about 13 doubles in 180 PA, most while filling in while Wright, Tejada and Muffy recover from flu-like symptoms, sore hamates, deep bone bruises, etc.

Yeah, he's still at the head of the line.

Re: 2013 IPP: Brandon Hicks

he seems to be a double threat... he can't hit OR field. But he'll be our backup MI, edging out the superior Quintanilla because of roster issues.
the more he plays, the more he'll suck.

.220 / 3hr / 150 ABs, and 10 errors

Injuries or no injuries... if he gets more than 200 PAs, I'm putting my gawdam eyes out with my pinkies.

Well, at least he's consistent.

.205 - 1- 11 before he is sent to the minors or released.
Quintanilla deserves this spot, and will earn it ere long.

Is his defensive rap that bad?
I know little about him except for a brief comment from Gary Cohen during the one or two innings of ST ball I've seen so far where he mentioned Hicks having a great arm.
