2013 IPP: Jon Niese

I think this will be a good year for Jon Niese, and that he'll make a step forward in his progress. 17-9, 3.20 ERA, 185 strikeouts. Schaefer Mets Pitcher of the Year.

15-8, 3.58 era, 169ks. If all these players do as I hopefully predict The Mets should win 90 games easy.

I think Niese takes a big step up, and is an All-Star.

So he's been struggling with a stiff back and a neck injury? Maybe they should 15-day him and give McHugh (if not Wheeler) a couple of starts. Right now some rest might be better for Niese than continuing to send him out there.
