I have no idea whether he or Hicks will get more playing time, but I do think that Omar will spend some time with the 2013 Mets. Put me down for 150 at bats, .240.

can't overcome non-roster status to take Hicks' spot. Only gets a callup if there's an injury.

Tejada will get hit by a pitch sometime in May and go on the 15-day DL, and Omar will get the call, fill in admirably. Hicks will pull a hammy legging out an infield hit in July, and Omar will in for him admirably as well. Highlight of the season comes during a road trip in St. Louis when Omar hits for the cycle backwards in 4 trips (homer, triple, double, single). When the send him back to the minors, he's claimed on waivers (by the MFYs!!!) and he helps them avoid their 92nd loss of the year with a nifty play at shortstop that Jeter would never make. MFYs lose their 92nd game the next day however.

The closest he gets to New York is when he goes to New York New York on the strip after the 51s game.

This, especially since Hicks has been hitting homers this spring.
