IGT --- Cards at Mets, 3/21/2013

Anyone watching? I'm flipping between NCAAs and the game. 1-0 STL on a Wainwright RBI. Hefner with 3Ks thru 2 IPs.

Opportunity for Hefner to sew up a rotation spot..We are down 2 sp's..They talk on Marcum is an impingement in the shoulder...I have that myself now and cortisone did nothing as the tendon is torn. Swamie says Ashie and Marcum will be having surgery..

This team has more holes than.....many things including my piehole... Lutz, Valdespin and Turner are all in the mix to start opening day..

Turner pinch hits...and gets a base hit....then goes first to third on a single. Welcome back, Justin. Kirk had a double in the minor league game today as well.

Turner looked good running to third. LaTroy Hawkins looked good. Lets get Arthur Rhodes too! I'm beginning to think Murphy was kidnapped on St. Paddys day.

Down 3-2, Parnell tosses a 1-2-3 top 9 In the bottom Jamey Hoffman? draws a 2-out walk off Jason Motte to set things up for Travis d'Arnaud ... who lines out to end the game.

Duda 2fer2 with a double. The triple by DD was sweet. He has a lil pop, who knew. Turner looking good and I do think if David can't start opening day he should get third base. Get that man more at-bats!
