Several columnists reporting that the Nationals are as full of themselves as the last guy in a human centipede. They have replaced the other NL East teams in my personal TrIpLe HaPpInEsS scenario. Montero shatters the leadoff batter's bat. Danny Espinosa, sporting a Williamsburg douchebag beard, is up next.

Byrd bangs a double but Ike's liner finds a glove to end the first. Montero gets another 5-4-3 to end the top of the second. oe: typo fixed.

Good game. Dudas homer was a ripped liner. Edgins day could have been a lot worse. He did get out of a jam there.

Well, he needs time to find an apartment, scope out the restaurants in the area, barbershops and laundromats, those sorts of things.

Hey, I have no problem with him coming just as soon as the Mets think he's ready. Maybe Buck can be flipped for a pitcher.
