"What the hell is an incosteral?"; The David Wright Rib Saga

A Boy Named Seo

Mike Puma reporting that David Wright has strained his 'incosteral', which I don't believe is a thing.

Thanks to my 2+ years of community college, I feel certain he means this instead, but nevertheless reports Wright will rest 3-5 days and calls Opening Day 'in question'.

Stuff inside us that can get hurt:

it's probably more the weight lifting.

This is what Murphy is still recovering from, although Wright's is reportedly more minor.

It was probably those too-tight straps on the Captain America suit.

Or maybe he sprained his inter-coastal waterway. Probably the part that goes past Norfolk.

ESPN reports that Sandy says Sugar is out 3-5 days minimum...Terry says he could open on the DL and Turner or Lutz will play 3b

What happened to the " if it was a real game I could play.

Total bullshit..

I blame it on Duda and his fucking bear hugs. Too much affection there.

Yeah, screw rest and Advil. When Duda hugs you, you need the Prez, FEMA, and the Red Cross just to repair your intercoastals.

How and why does it jump from 3-5 days to opening day and the DL (in the same statement)? We have enough doom and gloom to contend with without people using their imagination.

My only gripe is you asking a player too be competivly ready early March instead of early April..Bad brew..

Because all Met injuries multiply by a factor of 10. Ike Davis twisted his ankle and was out for the season due to this little-known codicil to the Metropolitan Disabled List.

You bet. Exercise that thing until, uh, tendon juice spurts out.
