Looks like I've finally shored up a date for my solo "debut" of sorts -- playing at the monthly coffeehouse at the UUFSB on Friday, November 8, including (hopefully) a few tunes with my old band for the first time in almost twenty years. More details forthcoming. All here invited, of course; we'll be fresh off a World Series high, so it'll be perfect timing.

If you're coming all the way from Australia, absolutely. As long as you mean the Candlebox song, because that's the only one I know with that title. You can count on at least one Butch Walker tune and one Thunder tune, though, because that's just how I roll.

I love that room. The people who run the place do a great job from the perspective of an audience member, and the musicians I know say they like playing there as well. Hopefully we can make it.
