Nice AB by Baxter to draw the walk off Nolasco.

Re: igt 4-6 Fish @ New York (N)

Sac fly by Bucky ties it. Six ribbys already. Nice.

But that is all. Oh no, orange bills. Are they gonna push these new ones? Once a week should do. Twice tops.

Baxter a bit over theatrical there. Shudda had two. Nice catch tho.

Jon Niese, he's our man, if he can't do it no one can...

Looks like a nice day at the park.

That played out well. That's making things happen. One out. Gotta plate a run here.

I'm okay with the "cut off their communications" strategy.

Re: igt 4-6 Fish @ New York (N)

Key at-bat for Davis there. Fouled 'em off 3-2 till he got something. Not gonna win many without he and Wright getting hits so we may as well get em going.

Re: igt 4-6 Fish @ New York (N)

Gary said that if the vis. bullpen phone wasn't working they might have to shut off the Mets pen phones. Would they really HAVE to do this? Isnt that a bit babyish?

Wouldn't losing access to the Mets' bullpen actually benefit the Mets?

Greg Dobbs draws the lefty specialist.

Mr. Dobbs-alina, Mr. Greg Dobbs-alina

Atchison looked fine, but THE MIGHTY Greg Dobbs is up, so bring in the lefty!

Re: igt 4-6 Fish @ New York (N)

That's the only way we can get Greg Dobbs out, interference.

Wacky stuff. That was not intentional. Baseball is amazin. Ive never seen that happen before.

Re: igt 4-6 Fish @ New York (N)

Interference doesn't have to be intentional. But Pierre could easily have avoided him.

Breaking news: this bullpen sucks.

I understand your first point but I think momentum puts Pierre right where he went. Maybe could have jumped to avoid Bucks leg.

Yea. Baxter gets to third.

Re: igt 4-6 Fish @ New York (N)

Edgin in line for the vulture victory but, assuming this lead holds, the scorekeep could invoke the 'both briefly and ineffectively' clause and deny Edgin the win in favor of Atchinson. Edgin faced just one guy, didn't retire him, and only got an out via the fluky interference call.

Oliva got rightfully charged with two errors that inning on the steal attempts but the young SS Hechavarria did a shit job of trying to stop either one of them and Senor Oliva didn't look happy about it, nor should he have.

Re: igt 4-6 Fish @ New York (N)

Napped and missed the first half of the game... and turned off my son's viewing of the WWE just in time to see Buck give the Mets the lead. Nice second half to this game and I am encouraged by the hitting and starting pitching.

The bullpen sucks some cock.
