And, way to step up, Gwreck. Or, path 2 step balloon, if you prefer.

Please assign me the two Mets/MFY tilts, once again, I feel my unique brand of venom and jokes about penises are best suited for that particular rivalry.

Otherwise, I'll take the Brewers and the Twinkies.

Just to help you out a bit: B.J. is the one they signed as a FA from Tampa; Justin is the one they got via trade from Arizona; and then there's their new import from the far east Kim-Jung Upton.

If you want the series beginning on 5/31 why don't you also do the one at CF the very next week (follow-up KTEs are quick and easy).
If you do those two I'll take the remaining four Marlins series starting with the one this weekend.

Re: KTE assignments

Well apparently we're only playing the MFY four times this year and they're all in a row. That will basically be written as a single KTE despite the fact that there are two games in Queens and then two in the Boogie Down.

So, please also give me Washington (4/19) and Pittsburgh (7/12).

Easiest way is to just look at the chart up top to see which ones are still unclaimed and pick one or two or three depending on how ambitious you're feeling.
Otherwise you might get assigned one during a time when you'll be on vacation or something and then we'll be forced to go into a series absent knowledge and who knows what disasters that could cause.

Good deal. Shame on me for just glancing at the grid and not reading the whole thread.
I didn't even realize until just a few days ago that we were playing the Royals at all. Then, by yesterday I was thinking: 'Hey, not only have these guys won seven (now eight) straight but I don't know shit about them!'

Damn, damn, damn.

I just spent a couple hours putting together a KTE for this last series against the Brewers, but didn't save the Word file after copying and pasting into the preview on the CPF. I then of course accidentally closed the browser window before submitting the post. GRRRR.

Sorry guys. The gist was not really about the Brewers team of today, but rather a tie-in to the Piazza HOF induction and how he had tons of success against Milwaukee as a Met.

Yea, Piazza! Boo, Brewers! Boo, TransMonk.

Re: KTE assignments

Maybe we can do a Postseason Participant Profile series to prepare to watch the playoffs? I know I usually suck at doing these things, but I could probably throw something up for the Red Sox this weekend. If anyone who did a KTE for the other playoff contenders wants to update them that would be cool too.

I'll take a team (doesn't really matter which) if we can get enough participation for someone to take others.
We'll need ten - or we can wait until the WC play-in games are done and just do the final eight. Skipping the one-game series will also give you, me, and whoever a few extra days to come up with something.
Maybe you should compose a fresh thread (while this one gets un-stickied and is allowed to die) in order to get your idea more notice.
