Wow, two Phillies needed to hold back the monster known as Kevin Elster. That's badass. Or maybe Kevin was holding onto two Phillies.......which is slightly more embarrassing.

And the thing about Dibble is that he's still an asshole 24 years after that day!

He seems rather proud of that though, which makes him a bigger asshole.

Best part about fights is the glorious challenge of guys playing out of position after the ejections are all tallied:

Play only Keith makes there at the end. 3-5-4 DP on a bunt.

Yeah, that was gorgeous. Points to Carter for staying home from the top, stretching like a firstbaseman, and seeing the play he still had at first. Nice stretch by Teufel at the end.

Bottom line is when Mr. Redlegs messes with Mr. Met, Mr. Redlegs gets fucked up.

Any movement on sharing/copying/selling the video?

Yeah, I'm biased, probably. Yeah, I've got two Keith shirts, a Starting Lineup figure or three, and a billion Keithcards. But, yeah, screw your Gehrigs and Terrys, your Pipps and Pujolses, and even your Olys-- best defensive firstie EVER.

The thing is that Olerud or Hrbek refined their games until, for a while at least, they were excellent to near perfect at everything a firstbaseman was supposed to do. But Keith --- and perhaps this speaks to the mental restlessness that he displays in the booth --- insisted on finding a way to do things a firstbaseman wasn't supposed to do.
