Ron's brother?

He mentioned on air a couple days ago that he had a brother drafted by the Yanquis right around the same time he, Ron, was being drafted by Texas.
No place of birth is given but the age and draft years are about right and the Hawaiian middle name adds evidence as well.

Looks to be him. A switch hitting first baseman who couldn't hit from either side.

Also lefthanded. That's pretty uncommon. I can't find a picture of Gary Hernandez, but here's a link to a fun piece about him from 1975.

IIRC from Keith's book, Papa H was also a lefty. It's like it runs in the family or something.
Of course my father was a lefty too yet wound up with five RH'd kids so yaneverknow.

He showed up in the booth at an SF game a couple years back. Let's just say that he doesn't use the product that his brother & Clyde endorse.
