BTW - only one Met can complete this sequence. There's only one answer.

Re: Quiz Night

Todd Hundley is the only #9 to represent the Mets in an All-Star game.

That's close enough. You win!! We were looking for "firsts", not "onlys". Hundley was the first Met player/Met manager to appear in an All Star Game wearing uniform #9.

Ashburn was the first #1. Bobby V. was the first #2. Ed Kranepool (#7) was selected to the 1965 NL All Star team, but did not appear in that game. No Met player/manager ever appeared in an ASG wearing uniform #6.

I appreciate the generous scoring.

Thanks. We were also looking for "appear", not "represent", thus the Kranepool omission.

If you want to count coaches, I believe Terry Collins broke the seal on #10 last year.

This quiz doesn't go to 10. Or 11.

This quiz doesn't go to 10. Or 11.

Even if it did, Tucker Ashford didn't make the All-Star Team that year.
