Greg (of course, Greg) had a fantastic list of all the men (Quallses) who stood between Mets pitchers and history. I have to say, that the wattage of electricity in the Metsophere seems shockingly low for the day after one of the four or five best pitched games in team history.

There's a lot of overreaction to the reactions to things. Specifically the (Yesterday's News)papers. But since it's universally accepted that Harvey was and is amazing, there wasn't a lot of "Did you see what so and so wrote?!?!?"

Harvey has pitched seven times in 2013 and four times he's been outright sensational. By the fourth time -- no matter that it's the best start of his burgeoning career and one of the best starts you'll ever see -- I get the sense it's a little "...yeah?" in terms of reaction. It's fucking crazy, of course, but if he's not spoiling some elements of the hardcore then he's not quite surprising them anymore. Plus Twitter.
