Identify the only Met that can complete the sequence below.

All are from Southern California, except Aspromonte. All the others, in fact, I think are from the greater Los Angeles area.

I'd guess Strawberry, but I don't know how that would include Aspromonte. And I'm sure there's a pile of other Mets from greater LA.

Everyone except Snider has a first name that starts with a B and a last name that starts with a vowel.

The sequence presented isn't at all chronological, so I really have no idea.

nelfi zapata needs to make the jump from a ball... keep this thing rolling. of course, he's another dead end.

the first letter of the next batter's first and last name is the same as the last letter of the prior batter's first and last name.

Good one. I knew it had to do with initials but couldn't quite crack the code.
