Currently overcast in Flushing. National Weather Service wrote: Rain and possibly a thunderstorm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. High near 70. East wind around 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible. I'd be tempted to let Marcum start today's game, in case it turns out to be one of those three-inning rainouts.

I'm of the opinion Byrd should not have dove there, but rather should have tried to keep the ball in front of him to save the run. Ronnie disagrees with me.

This is getting stupid. Beltran should signal to the Mets what Wainwright is throwing (somehow making the read and signal from right field). He owes us that much.

It fascinates me that the Mets offense isn't the worst run-scoring offense in the city. The Yankees came into today with the same runs/game rate (And play in Yankee Stadium). They've got 2 runs through 14 which is slightly better than 1 through 9, but still.
