Had a terrific day; got no work done, but oh well. Did I mention the Party Palace next door? There is a gathering here this weekend and today one son and his little girl came over to swim, then Ava and her mommy came over, then that same son and little girl, then MY son and his fiance came to swim and for supper. Beautiful day! On the subject of a different war, PA is celebrating the Gettysburg 150th anniversay this weekend too. If anybody here has not been to Gettysburg, please swing by sometime you are in the area. It's a really dramatic and awe inspiring place. The atmosphere 150 years later is still crackling. All the monuments, the rocks in Devil's Den, the Roundtop Brothers, it is just incredible. There are a few places in town that have the touristy stuff but the battle grounds are not to be missed. An invitation from a PA'er and it doesn't have to be this year; it'll be there for as long as people are entranced by this battle.
