From Annie's Mailbox, June 15, 2005:

Dear Annie: I read your column in the Boston Globe, and I want to know what you think about men wearing skirts. I have seen some in the area. -- John

Dear John: Scottish men have been wearing them for centuries, and more recently, designers have been showing men in sarong-type garments. Some men think they are comfortable, and if guys want to wear them, we don't care as long as they aren't going commando on a windy day. However, we suspect male skirts are a passing fad, so you might want to wait before investing in that silk gauze number.

"Annie" is the ghost of Ann Landers, isn't she?

There were some manly men (and womanly women) selling Utilikilts from a tent on Boston Common last Saturday.

Actually I've been tempted to get the Mountain Kilt for when I go hiking.

Swan Swan H can probably tell you about all the hippie guys in skirts each year at the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival.

Hey, I've got great legs. Might as well flaunt them.

I feel pretty confident that Willets doesn't want to get in a hot legs contest with cooby.

I'm kind of hoping to win the men's category.
