Does anyone else besided me find him or herself drifting to this forum rather than the baseball forum these depressing days?

I drift everywhere, every day.

I usually read the fora from the bottom up, saving the baseball one for last. And you're right... these days I take a deep breath before I click on that one, because I know it's going to take all my energy not to get depressed.

Pretend they're the Harvards.

I ain't all that depressed over the Mets as I am frustrated. If that collection of
Washington Nationals can run off eleven twelve whatever wins in a row there
is absolutely no reason the Mets can't. They have a much better team.

What's depressing is all this chit chat over trading Cameron to the Yanks.
