I don't think that the All Purpose Weight Loss thread was ever transferred from ezboard, so here it is...

I'm down about 12 or 15 pounds or so, maybe more or less, since I only started weighing myself about two weeks after the day when I said I was going to start trying to lose.

Of course I'm weak as a newborn lamb in the gym now, because I spent almost all of the time that I normally would spend in there on the treadmill at my parents' house. I'm trying to work out a schedule where I can hit the gym and the treadmill, because I'm still hoping to lose more. Losing 12 or so was not as much as I thought it would be, but a definite good start.

I've had some bounce back. I was aiming at 21 and I lost about seven, but now I'm back to about four pounds lost net.

Fifteen would be OK.

I started at 187 and I'm at 169 now. I'm going for 140.

I seem to be stuck in a holding pattern. Our family has been doing a great deal of traveling since the middle of May. All of the eating in restaurants is not helping my weight at all. I'm surprised that I've been able to simply maintain my weight this summer. I still want to lose 15-20 pounds if I can.

Went to the doctor last week. Hadn't been in 16 months. Over that period I've lost 2 pounds. Holding pattern.

No I never had a chance to love you
Now I only wanna say I love you one more time

I actually gained weight this spring. Dammit. I have to get cracking soon before I have to buy new pants.

I've weighed the same for a good fifteen years. I have a small beer belly but
it's not like it's huge or anything and I'm rather fond of filling it so I doubt it
will be going away.

I hope I never have to "diet" to lose weight. I'm very used to eating like a pig
and to stop would really be a challenge. I'm in the "live to eat" crowd and not
the "eat to live" .
