I did. :) And it explains alot. I knew something was up when I was no longer the huge batboy. It would be kool if at some point, like 1 gazillion posts or something, you got to pick your favorite and keep it, and that player is removed from the pool.

Well, that's not exactly how our system works. But at 11,000 posts you get to choose a custom designation.

I guess that "time with the Mets" consideration was why a few days ago, I was Nolan Ryan, yesterday I was Art Shamsky, and now I'm Jeff Innis. It obviously isn't based on player ability OR fame. LAter

Problem is that I can update everything at home, but my spreadsheet application isn't Excel, and it won't translate likely when I send it to Yancy for re-introduction to our database.

The 2005 list is done, but the overall list with the 2005 list incorporated is what needs to be updated into the system.

Seems to me the changes should be coming less frequently if that is true. My player has changed three times within my last 100 or so posts. It that a Jamie in the system? (Jamie Quirk seemed like a nice guy; too nice to be burdened by the negative connotation of his last name) Later
