The odd (hypocritical?) thing about this lighthearted poll is that I used to really go off on some nameless female posters when they'd start raising such stupid questions on a serious baseball website, claiming that it polluted all humanity to have baseball discussed in such hormonally warped ways.

You can't vote for yourself...jeez... on Edit:..had to laugh at the memory section on UMDB...here is the first post.. ] He was a pretty decent player but I think he may have cared more about chasing skirt than ground balls. All things considered I can't say I blame him. brilliant.

Nice to learn that the digits at the end of Elster's name refer not to his first year as a real contributor to the cause, but to his then-record 88-game errorless streak a few years later.
