Bench and mopup squad salary mishugaas

BBref is confusing me. Their salary chart for 2005, towards the bottom of this page http://www.baseball-reference.com/teams/NYM/2005.shtml seems incomplete and in several places screwy. Looper only made $800,000 last year? I don't think so. Where's Ice Williams? Was Danny Graves really Lee Majors last year, and did the Mets pay all of the 6 Mil? Again, I don't think so. Did the Mets pay Mike Matthews $100,000 per IP last year? I 'd hope not. Lots of unaswered questions. Anyone know a better source of salary info? it's kinda silly to discuss LT contract implications, arbitration numbers, etc. without knowing what we're talking about.

I don't get why they continue to credit Doug Pappas with salary data. I don't mean an ounce of disrespect, but he's been dead for some time now.

There seems to be lists all over the internet. I think there should be an accurate one here: http://mlbplayers.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/pa/index.jsp if you want to take the time to poke around for it.

http://www.mlb4u.com/teampages.html does a decent job, although they didn't get the Trachsel and Glavine contracts exactly right.
