We have to ask:
"For No One' -- Beatles 11 votes
'One on One' -- Hall and Oates 2 votes

That's Beatles v. Hall & Oates

Loser goes home. Your vote counts as point differential will determine final standings

I'm a fan of "One on One," but it is a cliche-ridden mass of mixed metaphors, lyrically. It was a good vehicle for what Darryl Hall does best.

"For No One" is a good Beatles song, and therefore hard to beat.

I voted "For No One" as I can't vote for a H&O tune under almost any circumstances but I still think it's not really a "one" song.

Plus "Cry for no one/A love that should have lasted years" can be put into several different Met contexts

Hall and Oates taking another vicious beat down. Mercifully for them, there is no third round match up in their future.

Hall & Oates is out. Although I haven't added up all the scores yet, 2-20 is going to be tough to do worse than.
