In April of 2003, my wife bought me a year's subscription to Sports Illustrated so I could get the Commemorative Syracuse National Championship Issue. They still arrive every week. Last season, I got half a year of free NBA League Pass before Time Warner figured it out and turned it off at the All-Star Break. Today, there was a guy outside the train station who handed me his Metrocard vowing to never take the train again "as long as they employ those selfish bastards". His card had one ride left on it.
