Finals

For the past week and a half, I've been holed up in my room, studying my ass off. I also had two 20-page papers to write - one due December 15th and one due December 20th. I got the first paper, on the failure of the Harriet Miers nomination, in on time, and I just finished the second paper, on the liberal and republican philosophies regarding abortion, tonight, and I just submitted it. I must say, this has been the most stressful period of my life thus far.

Val; I feel your pain. As a college prof, I just slogged through 90 papers-- 7-10 pages each-- of poorly written prose. When will I learn not to assign these things?
