The more they show that replay the more I think that was a bad call to send Byrd. Its true that the throws had to be good but they didn't have to be rushed or perfect. And they weren't.

NYM Pitchers hitting this season: .100/.130/.120 - 4 XBHs (all doubles) Opponent pitchers* hitting against NYM this season: .160/.202/.244 -- 19 XBHs (12 doubles + 7 HRs) * includes all #9 hitters so may include a few non-pitcher ABs - can't find stats for pitchers alone That NYM pitcher hitting is the worst in the league. We're losing the hitting battle badly from that particular spot.
