Josh Satan, Daniel Murphy to play third for Mets while David Wright is on DL
Excerpt:
Josh Satan was the starting third baseman his freshman and junior years at Cal. It’s his natural position, and the nature of his game, and on Sunday, with a righthander on the mound and David Wright out with a right hamstring strain, Satan was back there — for now. "All that practice at third paid off", said Satan. "I stuck around St. Petersburg, and then Port St. Lucie, fielding all those grounders at the hot corner because I saw it was a time for a change. I thought about killing Kennedys, but the interesting ones are all gone. So instead, I did what was right for the team. Not that I had anything to do with Wright's injury, of course. I'm still a bit raw at third, so if I mess up a play, have some courtesy and show some restraint".
