Delmon Young - Phils OF ... DFA'd Philly recently acquired ChiSox OFer Casper Wells off waivers. We just got through playing the ChiSox and Casper Wells barely made an impression, but right now he's replacing a former 1/1 draft pick. Kyle Farnsworth - Rays reliever ... DFA'd I'm thinking this could be the end of the line for the 37 y/o, 15-year vet Mark Reynolds - Indians OF/1B/DH ... DFA'd The usually unmentioned member of the SE Virginia-bred contingent, he once cracked 44 HRs and twice more over 30 but teams don't have much patience for the low BAs and the high Ks (123 in 335 ABs this season). Teams kept hoping he'd explode like Chris Davis but instead he's regressed into TTO legend Rob Deer.

Reynolds did explode like Chris Davis... he just only did so, like, a month at a time.

Not so sure I wouldn't prefer Reynolds to Satin. (Remembering when Dave Kingman's 140-strikeout seasons were scandalous, and now I'm advocating for a guy who has routinely struck out over 200 times per season. What is wrong with me?)
