Pedro Feliciano has somehow pitched 2 1/3 innings spanning four games and allowed bupkis. Only a single walk has escaped his general veil of effectiveness. His seven other batters faced have been outs, and two of them have been whiffies. He's added .3 win probability points to the team. He has inherited six runners, and allowed none of them to score.

Well, sometimes even random position players throw a good 2 innings, so..

Terry likes having a situational lefty, so he will lean on whoever it happens to be at the moment unless or until it stops working.

All seven batters he's retired have been lefties. His lone righty has represented his lone walk.

I watched his appearance yesterday and he looked good. His stuff all breaks away hard from lefties, velocity notwithstanding.

It sounds like you're leaning lucky, but I don't see your vote up there.

Which, IIRC, looked very much like a pitch-around even if not officially an IW.

The words 'small sample size' come to mind.

It may have been passed by a bicycling grandmother en route to the plate, but that lollipop to strike out Parra a few days ago looked plenty legit to me.

Sounds like a Lucky vote to me, but I'm not seeing it in the ballot box.

Too close to call. He didn't exactly have a blazing fastball to begin with. I'd lean towards it's real though.

Technically Pedro Tres no?

At least, but it was a name incurred back when there were two Pedros on the staff.

Surprised at how much joy the emergence of Pedro 3.0 has given me. It's like he's been warming up just out of view for three years, just waiting for the right lefty-lefty matchup.

Given his experience I'd have to say effective. Hope his luck holds up.

He's been effective so far. He's done well adjusting to a reduced velocity, but the key is what happens after teams adjust to him.

June 1, 1995: Drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 31st round of the 1995 amateur draft. Player signed June 11, 1995. But never played for 'em!

With that sort of..luck? Pedro would be wise to ask for a job with the Mets after retiring.
