Juan Lagares started his career as an infielder, sez the booth. Had no idea.

I didn't know that Callison hit his walkoff wearing a Met helmet in the 64 all star game. And that's major Met lore to me.

I knew that he started as a shortstop...and also EYjr was primarily a 2nd baseman in the minors... after watching both of them (and seeing what we have as middle infielders)...I have to wonder, would either of these 2 be a degrade at SS/2B than we currently have?

I imagine Lagares got moved for a reason. Those gruesome fielding percentages (.942, .911, .938 his first three seasons) I'm looking at right now might have something to do with that. Sorta stuff that would embarrass Valdespin.
