When Metsies return home Monday night, it will be with Mike Baxter, Aaron Harang and Juan Centeno. Ruben Tejada apparently kept dangling so the team that has avoided using him for months can hold on to him for an extra year.

Bryce Harper will NOT be available for at least the first game of this series; is back in the D of C getting his aching hip looked at.

We'll also miss Strasburg who had a very odd game yesterday: he pitched well for the most part but somehow managed to balk twice with the bases loaded.
I thought Mike Pelfrey had patented that move.

Maybe. Torres could settle down. The only reason for a long evening should be because we turn over the line up a few times. :)

So, other than the multiple HRs given up and the getting no-hit part, this game isn't starting out too bad.

I'm at the point where if we get no-hit, and no one on the team gets hurt, it's not that bad a thing. It's not like it would be a shocking surprise if we didn't get a hit.
