I hope he works out well, but considering the increasing walk-rate numbers and hit-rate stats, I suspect he's the kind of Cory that gives you the irresistible urge to consume intoxicants and indulge in self-destructive behavior.

Wade debuts giving up two in the ninth, blowing a save and taking the loss, a loss that ended the 51s season one game behind Oklahoma City (that noted Pacific Coast hotspot) in the race for the league's best reason. Still have a postseason to redeem yourself Corwin.

Are the Mets holding open tryouts at this point? I can probably give them an inning or two. I can't be any worse than Dice-K, can I? I mean, I have a certificate from Veterans Stadium that I hit 61 on their speed gun some time in the mid-1990's. And hey, that was without warming up. Sandy, call me on my cell, bubbela.
