Re: Whose Home Am I?

It looks so sterile. Does anybody live there? Where are the books? And the bottle of Ajax next to the kitchen sink? And the tissues to blow your nose?

Non-traditional spelling of T#m Gl@v!ne, but we'll accept it.

As long as he's comfortable.

Alfonzo built a $6M home in Queens, next to what looks like a regular NYC apartment building??

More bang for the buck in Georgia. Lots more. ( No surprise).

I thought each individual picture from the first post was from houses of different ex-Mets. Thats all one house?! Yikes!

I think the bathroom was bigger than my first two apartments combined. What's with the tub in the middle of the room?

If you're going to have a harem of women to bathe you, you need to give them space to work.

Re: Whose Home Am I?

This mission-style home is your six-bedroom, seven-bath, 9,300 ticket to Metly lifestyle. It was once sold for over $7 million back when the realty world was booming, but was reduced to $3.95 million back in spring of 2012. It went in April of that year, but I have to log in to find out how much it went for. The nearby equestrian trails were a big selling point.

For all it's extravagance, the kitchen sink is so tiny that I want to cry. I want to conclude that it's a secondary kitchen, but I see no other in the photos.

Re: Whose Home Am I?

The outside pics look like the house of the widow lady on The Bridge. That last pic, of the batting cage.....to think of a home with that right there on the grounds makes me salivate more than any image can portray.

That's the ex Met's bedroom? When did the Mets have a 14-year old on the roster?

That's there for existential reasons, to remind him that a cage, no matter how extravagantly appointed, is still a cage.

Never mind. That's gotta be the kid's bedroom.

That's a 14-shot photo essay speckled with visual cues, but no guesses.

Re: Whose Home Am I?

I think the kitchen sink is in the photo below the photo you think it's in. I think you're looking at the bathroom. Though it's odd to display a liquor bottle in a bathroom.

I'm guessing Jeff Kent.

Darryl Hamilton.

(Kent would never display a Bonds jersey unless he stole it or something).

Re: Whose Home Am I?

Fourth image from top, looks like a painting (drawing) of a lefty, perhaps in an Astros uniform?

I'll guess Mike Hampton.

Re: Whose Home Am I?

Neither Kent nor Hamiltoe.

I imagine it would be Hell on a realtor to show Kent's house, constantly having to clean up post-tantrum detritus --- strewn clothes, destroyed furniture, holes smashed in the wall, baseball bat-battered appliances.... It'd be pretty weird to know that Kent's rec room displayed not one, but two Barry Bonds jerseys.

And while I'm submitting, Solo picks the right cue and nails it. That's 8601 N 59th Place, Paradise Valley, AZ 85253 --- where the hunting's good and the schools are to die for.

You're up, Solo. Nicely played.

I think you're right. I didn't see that. The image is so large, I woulda hadda use the scroll bar below to see the edge of the photo, which I didn't.

So how does one find these, do I google "former homes of ex-Mets"?
