Re: Hunter's Hitters

It's a parody video of a Hunter Pence-sponsored baseball camp where you learn to play like Hunter; that is, with zero coordination of your limbs.

Like a hungry man chasing a taco.

I wonder if 3 and 40 would bring him to Queens.

Re: Hunter's Hitters

Fun videos and nicknames aside... he's a risk at more than three years, as he's just coming off his first good year in four. And as the he more or less confesses in the video, if he's not hitting, he's not helping you on the bases or on defense.

Captain Underpants' 2010-2012 were all plus 20 HR 80-90 RBI

I cant explain the 22 stolen bases this year other than to say he must feel good.

Pound for pound I prefer Hunter over Choo..

Well, you're right. I misread his 2012 season.

Reports say that Pence is close to a deal with the Giants.

Re: Hunter's Hitters

Pence is Texas bred and was a very Popular Astro...Kinda like Berkman who went to New Braunfels High School..

I am a Pence fan myself and would be happy to see him find a home for a few years..

I know he is gawky and such but he can hit..

Good luck Hunter..I wish you were a Met..

For my tastes, that's a little too generous for a pretty good ballplayer on the wrong side of 30. But the Giants know him and obviously like him.

It's still shaping up to be a buyers' market for outfielders, so I'm not overly concerned for the Mets' choices.

3100 posts gets me to Keith Miller? I guess I need to try harder.
