Wednesday Addams takes her name from the folk rhyme "Monday's Child" in which the poet declares "Wednesday's child is full of woe." Well, so is Wednesday's music, as you see here form a lot of filler tracks from second tier acts, rather than singles from top acts.

If you can find a link to the Elvis song (first one I thought of!), please share.

There are links to the entire Armed Forces album. Elvis has only performed this song once so there's no live versions to link to.

Yeah, unsurprisingly, nobody's received a second vote. Who knew that the Royal Guardsmen ever sang songs that weren't about Snoopy? Halfway decent, too.

I like Lisa Loeb, and that's one her more rocking songs.

Fischerspooner makes good spectacle. As a band, Fischerspooner's a hell of a spectacle.

Status Quo rocked pretty convincingly. I haven't made up my mind yet.
