In order reduced the search for the definitive songs for each day to a digestible, bite-size (indeed, FUN-size!) task, we're working Copa Mundial-style. Five small groups, making for easier reviews. The champs from each of the five groups advance, along with the top three runners up. Please vote for TWO of the following. That Minders song is pretty good once it stops being a dry jazz instrumental.

Sort of a renaissance fanfare, but yeah, that's 30 seconds of boochit before 2:45 of solid power pop. I'm picking it anyway. The Stones track is played out certainly, but trying to hear it again for the first time is rewarding enough.

I'm abdicating. Abandoning. Friday killed this. Should have started with shorter polls. Going with longer ones at the start dissolved any interest, and now the short ones are orphaned. ORPHANED! WAAAH!

I like these. Longer ones were too long but these are short enough that you can listen to the songs.
