What's the Mets themed loot under your tree/menorah/etc this year? I got this. Going to get some shadow boxes and adorn my man cave with headlines.

you know, I don't think I got anything Mets themed.. oh yeah, a coworker gave me a Mets mug and Mets shot glass. Which is admittedly perfect.

thus far i've recieved no specifically mets-themed christmas presents this year. apparently santa claus thinks i need to step up my game. i did get a nook hd that i can eventually festoon with all manner of metly content, and will shortly be receiving a photo book of my third year of the photo a day thing, which will have some metly content therein. but nothing overt. a shea stadium blueprint sounds freaking awesome. i need to angle for that next year!

Closest we got to Mets swag was Strat-O-Matic and membership in the Kids Club for Lunchpail.

I once had a chance to buy some authentic Shea Stadium architectural blueprints form some late '90's renovation project. I still regret passing on the blueprints.

You may recall that 2 years ago I bought an "express" version that came with the 2010 all-star teams and fewer strategic feature cards. That also came with a $10 off coupon for the full-blown version which we cashed in. We played a few innings of Baltimore-Boston this afternoon.
